National Fire Safety Month Event: Meet Your Local Fire Fighters!
Saturday, October 20 @ 11 amEver wanted to meet a firefighter? Do you want to explore a fire truck and learn all about fire safety from our brave firefighters next door at Station 10? The whole family is invited to the library to do just that! We will be meeting at 11 am in the Children's Department before heading outside to explore the fire engine and learn all about fire safety. Please join us for this free, educational, and fun event!
Friends Book Fair

The Friends of the Library of St. Johns County present the first Friends Book Fair, featuring area writers showcasing their work. Nancy Haddock, Eileen Erikson, Andre R. Frattino, Kathryn Bain, and Lanny Smith will provide insight into their writing experiences. Refreshments will be served and the program is open and free to the public. Learn about this celebration, and join us in making beautiful, bright, paper crafts. This program is for aimed at elementary aged children and up.
Teen Gamers
Saturday, October 20 @ 5-7 pm Teens, (grades 6-12) bring your friends and come on out for an evening of gaming on Saturday, October 20 -- we have Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Wii, PS3, or play the newest Halo game on X-Box 360! Pizza and snacks will be provided by the Friends of the Bartram Trail Branch Library.
