Tuesday, October 23 @ 11 amToday's Family Storytime celebrates National Friends of the Library Week with two special guest readers who love our library: Library Director, Debra Rhodes Gibson, and Ponte Vedra County Commissioner, Jay Morris! Ms. Anne will provide the songs and dancing and autumn bookmark craft and give-aways as we share stories about loving the library and reading. Our Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library sponsor our special summer reading program events and "Un-Scary" Halloween Party, help us to buy new children's, teen, and adult materials, and so much more - let's celebrate them and our wonderful library!

D.I.Y. Teen Pumpkin Carving

We'll be turning out the lights, eating popcorn, and sharing tales of ghosts, monstrous creatures, bogey-men, death, and other dangers through shadow puppet theatre. Adult Crochet Group

Adults and teens age 14 and older are invited to attend the Project Lap Blanket crochet group at the Bartram Trail Branch Library. The group will crochet or knit blankets for cancer patients at area hospitals. All skill levels are welcome. Can’t come to any of the meetings? Pick up the crochet pattern at the Reference Desk in the library and crochet the blanket in your spare time. Drop off completed blankets and any yarn you’d like to donate during regular library hours.
