  • Literary Lions Book Club: Any Book by Edna Buchanan

    Edna Rydzik Buchanan was born in 1939 near Paterson, New Jersey. Buchanan was one of the first female crime reporters in Miami. Her police reporting for the Miami Herald won her a Pulitzer Prize in 1986. She is perhaps best known, however, for her mystery novels featuring a Cuban American crime reporter, Britt Montero. These titles include Contents Under Pressure; Miami, It's Murder; Suitable for Framing; Margin of Error, and Act of Betrayal. Enjoy sharing your thoughts of any of Buchanan's books, along with coffee & refreshments, courtesy of the Friends of the Library of St. Johns County.

     

  • Tween/Teen Weekend Gaming

    Saturday, November 10 @ 12 pm
    Tweens and teens are invited to a weekend gaming session, featuring some of your favorite games on the PS3, xbox 360, & Wii! Just for coming we'll let each gamer pick out a FREE young adult book from our reading cart. Refreshments provided by the Friends of the Library.

  • Book Sale

    Do you love books? Do you love your library?  The Friends of the Bartram Trail Branch Library will hold this month's book sale from 9:30 am to noon--books of all kinds and items such as DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes, and audiobooks will be available! Proceeds from the book sale support programs at the Bartram Trail Branch Library!

  • Adult Bingo for Books!

    BingoSaturday, November 10 @ 2 pm

    Don't let the kids have all the fun!  Come on in and play Bingo for Books from 2 to 3 pm today.  Everyone is guaranteed to go home with at least one free book. Books are generously donated by the Friends of the Bartram Trail Branch Library!
