  • Family Storytime presented by Bird Island Park

    Storytime!Tuesdays, December 11 and 18 @ 11 am

    Please join Ms. Suzanne of Bird Island Park as she presents Family Storytime in the FOL Community Room! "Just for Babies" and Family Storytime presented by Ms. Anne are on hiatus during the month of December for winter and spring program planning and will return with Ms. Anne on January 8, 2013. Thank you to Bird Island Park for partnering with our library and making storytimes (and special events like our Holiday Bedtime Storytime) possible year-round!

     

  • One Stroke Winter Ornaments with Charlene

    One Stroke Winter Ornaments Tuesday, December 11 @ 6 pm
    One Stroke is a learned art form pioneered by Florida resident Donna Dewberry. No experience necessary. You are invited to learn some basic painting strokes, and make a fun craft at the same time. Glass ornament and all other materials will be provided. Please call 904.827.6940 to sign up for this FREE art class. Limited to the first 12 students! Presented by Charlene Burton, a certified One Stroke instructor.

     

  • Adult Crochet Group: 500th Blanket Celebration

    Tuesday, December 11 @ 6 pm

    Adults and teens age 14 and older are invited to attend the Project Lap Blanket crochet group at the Bartram Trail Branch Library. The group will crochet or knit blankets for cancer patients at area hospitals. All skill levels are welcome. Can’t come to any of the meetings? Pick up the crochet pattern at the Reference Desk in the library and crochet the blanket in your spare time. Drop off completed blankets and any yarn you’d like to donate during regular library hours.
