Just for Babies - Held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday mornings, January - April, at 10:15 am; babies up to 15 months and their caregivers. This infant lapsit is designed for one-on-one interaction between caregiver and baby with Ms. Anne! Families with multiple children are encouraged to attend Family Storytime. Just for Babies Spring Dates: January 8 and 22; February 5 and 19; March 5 and 19; and April 2 and 16 (please note: because of the New Year's Day holiday, January's "Just for Babies" will be held the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays just in January)
Family Storytime - Held every Tuesday morning, January - April, at 11 am with Ms. Anne; aimed at children 16 months - 5 years and their families, though no child will be turned away! Family Storytime Spring Dates: January 8, 15, 22, 29; February 5, 12, 19, 26; March 5, 12, 19, 26; and April 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30. Tuesday, January 8 from 4:30 - 5:30 pmTeens ages 13 - 18 ONLY are invited to join our new Teen Advisory Board and have a say in the books and audio-visual materials we order for teens, the teen programs we offer, and much more at the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library! Participation in the Teen Advisory Board counts as service hours and snacks will be served provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. Join us for our first meeting - led by Youth Services Librarian Anne Crawford - and get involved!
Friends of the Library Book Sale Extravaganza
Wednesday, January 2 through Monday, January 7,
from 10 am to 5 pm
With this first Book Sale of the New Year come stock up for winter reading and choose from over 3,000 fiction titles and an extensive selection of cook books all a result of generous patron donations all priced at $1.00. Other selections include classics; biographies and memoirs; history; travel; health; inspiration; art, music and poetry; foreign language; reference; nature; hobbies, music CD’s, and DVD’s all priced at $1.00 each. Children and young adult books, paperbacks, books on cassettes and VHS movies will be priced at 50 cents each. On Tuesday, January 8, all remaining items will be available at special discount pricing from 10 am – 2 pm.Just for Babies! Resumes January 8
