Friends of the Library Booksale
Saturday, February 9 from 10 am to 4 pmThe Friends of the Southeast Library will be holding a book sale. Tables full of books of all kinds will be on sale with most priced at $1.00 or lower. In addition to books, other items such as DVDs, CDs and VHS tapes will be available. The FOLSE Bookstore will be open during the same hours with the same low prices.

Veterans' History Volunteer Training

Viva Florida 500 & GBBC Gear Up for the Great Backyard Bird Count!

Come into the library to learn more about birding & the Great Backyard Bird Count going on in February! Monique Borboen, Northeast Florida Policy Associate for the Audubon Society, will be presenting a program on how to identify birds in our community and how we can be stewards of the natural environment. After the program, we will provide you with your very own “go kit” to go out and participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count! The kit will include a bird list, color copies of shore and wading birds, instructions on how to participate in the GBBC and a list of locations within St. Johns County that are great birding spots.
