Looking for fun for the whole family? Come on in and play Bingo for Books from 2 to 3 pm today. Everyone is guaranteed to go home with at least one free book. Books are generously donated by the Friends of the Bartram Trail Branch Library!
Saturday, February 9 @ 2 pm We're looking for volunteers to help us interview local veterans and record their stories. This is a nationwide effort, led by the Library of Congress, to preserve the memories and stories of our nation's heroes. Monique Borboen, Northeast Policy Associate for the Audubon Society, will make a presentation on birds in our local community, how to identify them and how we can to be stewards of the natural environment. Great Backyard Bird Count materials will be distributed to the community. Birdhouses and haiku will be on display at the Library. This program is for new and experienced birds, children and families.
Saturday, February 8 @ 2 pm Come into the library to learn more about how to create a bird friendly backyard! After the program, we will provide you with your very own “go kit” to go out and participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count! This program is for new and experienced birders alike, and the entire family is encouraged to take part!
