Florida State Park Ranger Tonya will join Ms. Anne for a special storytime in celebration of "September is Literacy Month" and Viva Florida 500. This fun storytime event will feature nature-themed and autumn books and include a nature walk outdoors after storytime in beautiful Bird Island Park located behind the library!
Just for Babies - Held the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 10:15am; for babies up to 15 months and their caregivers. This infant lapsit is designed for one-on-one interaction between caregiver and baby. Families with multiple children are encouraged to attend Family Storytime.
Family Storytime - Held every Tuesday morning at 11am; for children 16 months - 5 years and their families, though no child will be turned away. For more information on system-wide library storytimes, please go here.

The Community Room will be organized with an eclectic collection of wonderful books in excellent condition. The "Better Books Room" will have its share of volumes that any patron would be happy to own at reasonable prices. Tuesday's preview is open only to Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library members. This is your chance to get first choice of books. You can become a Friend of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library at Seymour's Book Store or at the event and membership begins at just $25. Wednesday through Saturday, the Book Sale will be open to the public. Saturday will once again be Bag Day, where each bag of books is $8. All proceeds go to support the Friends' Mission to make our library an outstanding educational, cultural, civic, and recreational center for the community.

To celebrate Viva Florida 500, we invite you to this special gardening program highlighting native plants from Florida and the Southeastern United States. Renee Stambaugh, Master Gardener and owner of Native Plants Consulting, will discuss how to use natives as a cost-effective alternative to other plants, and at the same time, create a low-maintenance yard. Plants will be for sale with a percentage of the proceeds going to the Friends of the Library of St. Johns County.
