Spend an hour with one of Florida’s favorite writers, Patrick D. Smith, as he takes you on a nostalgic journey to a Florida that exists today only in books. From this documentary, you'll get to know both the author, and the state of Florida, better as this soft spoken gentleman introduces you to the Florida of his youth. You'll be touched by the true stories of his adventures along the way to writing his books, many of which are now modern-day classics. Light snacks provided by the Friends of the Library of St. Johns County.
Tuesday, February 4 @ 3:30pm
Teens are welcome to drop by the meeting room for gaming, painting, crafting, or just hanging out. Guitars and a keyboard are available as well.

Three years of shooting were needed by five teams in order to follow bird migrations flying over the seven continents: from one pole to another, from the seas to snowcapped mountains, from the canopy of heaven to mangroves and swamps. Spectacular! For more information, or the name of this month's film, call the library at 209-3730.
