  • St. Johns Reads Event: Museum Visit

    The Old Florida Antique Museum in Hastings will provide a guided tour of their collection of antique agricultural and household items and vehicles. See a section of the old Hastings train depot and step inside a real Florida cracker house. The museum is off SR 207. Take a right on Old Hastings Rd. right before Bulls-Hit Farms and park in the 2nd driveway on the right. Be sure to bring your library card so you can check out materials on Florida.

     

  • Read to Rover

    Elementary students and beginning readers are invited to join our volunteer therapy dogs for a barking good time. Read your favorite stories to these clever canines and become a member of the Read to Rover Frequent Reader Club. Don't miss this great experience.

    Come visit with Maddie, Clifford, Cookie, or Oskar. Read them one of your favorite books or one of the many doggie tales we have at the library.

    Mr. Bennett gives pointers and information about ePublishing. CS Bennett hails from Philadelphia, PA and now resides in Interlachen, FL. He is a world traveler, decorated war veteran, and has penned 12 full-length books.

     

  • St. Johns Reads Event: A Taste of A Land Remembered

    Taste of a Land RememberedSaturday, February 22 @ 2pm
    Join our librarians, Valerie and Mikki, as they bring you some Florida Homestyle Cooking. Come to the library for some laughs and fun, all while you learn about traditional Florida cuisine. To ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the program, there will be 52 tickets available 1 hour before the program at the front desk.
