  • After-School Crafts with Teens

    art programWednesday, March 12 @ 4pm

    Children (K - 5th grade), and their caregivers, are invited to make crafts with the teens of Nease High School's Arts in Motion Club. Materials are provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library, no registration is needed and it's free. Please Note: All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.

     

  • Teen Tech Week: Movie Event

    Wednesday, March 12 from 5pm - 7pm

    teen tech week logoThis year's Teen Tech Week theme is "DIY (Do It Yourself) @ Your Library", so all teens ages 13 - 18 are invited to watch a recently released PG-13 movie based on the second book of a very popular series and see how extreme that idea can be in the Arena. We'll have a display consisting of library books of far more fun and sane ways to "do it yourself" you can try out with your friends. Pizza and refreshments will be served and raffle prizes will be given to lucky winners thanks to the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. Please call the Library at 827-6950 for the movie title or with any questions.

     

  • Teen Tech Week: Makey Makey Fun

    Stop by the Teen Lounge to see what it's like to play the piano using bananas or play Pac-Man on a piece of paper. These things and more can be done with a Makey Makey, so come try it out.

     

     

  • Little Ones Storytime

    Join Miss Kristine and Miss Alex every Wednesday for quality time with your baby or toddler. Enjoy songs, stories, fingerplays, games, and so much more during this lapsit program. Duffy the Storytime Bear is looking forward to meeting you under the parachute. Older siblings are welcome to stick around for Family Storytime right after.

    We'll be learning to count this spring. Can you count to ten?

     

  • Family Storytime

    Join Miss Kristine and Miss Alex every Wednesday for a fun-filled hour of stories, songs, and crafts. This program is geared toward a wide range of ages, including families with toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary-aged children.

    Bring on the big wheels. We'll be reading books about trucks and diggers today.

     

  • St. Augustine Travel Club: Switzerland

    Wednesday, March 12 at 3pm

  • Superhero Storytime with the U.S. Coast Guard @ Anastasia Island Branch

    Coast Guard Library VisitWednesday, March 12 @ 10:30am
    Bring in your little ones to the Anastasia Island Branch Library to meet some of our local heroes, members of the U.S. Coast Guard. They will explain what they do and teach us about water safety. There will be a craft and a meet-and-greet and everyone will have a chance to meet a local superhero and ask questions.
