The final day of the book sale, Tuesday, June 10, is a bag sale. From 10am to 3pm, paper grocery bags are provided so customers can fill a bag with books for $3. The book sale is held by the Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine as a fundraiser and all sale proceeds support programs and other needs of the Main Library.

Increase flexibility, build strength, and decrease stress while engaging in the ancient practice of yoga. Yoga instructor Sharon Sprenger will guide students through various techniques to help tone and relax the body. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing.

Teen Lounge is open for gaming on the PS3, Wii, or PS2. We also have board games, paints, and other crafts. Musical instruments are available as well.

Second in a series of four classes (Tuesdays in June) covering the basic methods, techniques and sources to discover your family history, including researching online and offline; citing your sources; organizing files, documents and images, and other useful skills. Sponsored by the St. Augustine Genealogical Society and led by Holly Timm, who is a genealogical researcher with 40 years of experience in the field.

Adults and teens (Ages 14+) are invited to attend the Project Lap Blanket crochet group at the Bartram Trail Branch Library. The group will crochet or knit blankets for cancer patients at area hospitals. All skill levels are welcome. Can’t come to any of the meetings? Pick up the crochet pattern at the Reference Desk in the library and crochet the blanket in your spare time. Drop off completed blankets and any yarn you’d like to donate during regular library hours.

The International Relations Book Club meets to discuss current international events. The discussion is moderated by Joseph Warner, retired U.S. diplomat and adjunct professor of Geography and International Relations at Florida State College at Jacksonville.
