  • LEGO Club for Tweens

    LegoWednesday, June 18 @ 4pm
    Tweens in 4th-7th grades (ages 9 - 13) are invited to the library for an afternoon of building with Legos and hanging out. No registration is necessary and it's free. Thanks to our Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library for providing the Legos for this very special program just for Tweens, including our pink Legos. Tween girl Lego lovers, we want you to join our club, too.

     

  • Wednesday Brown Bag Lunch: Mysteries of Tea Leaves

    Friends of the Main Library St. AugustineWednesday, June 18 @ 12:30pm
    Come and enjoy a cup of tea provided by the St. Augustine Spice & Tea Exchange and then have your tea leaves read by 2 Ghouls.

    The program is free of charge and open to the public. Bring your lunch and enjoy the program as well as light refreshments provided by the Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine.   • Family Film Series

    Wednesday June 18 @ 2pm
    Main Library is hosting a Summer Family Film Series every Wednesday from June 18 through August 1 in the large meeting room. Bring the kids and enjoy free organic popcorn courtesy of Diane's Natural Foods.  Today's movie will definitely help you "chill out" and "beat the heat."  Explore the properties of water, especially the colder aspects, with this modern retelling of a classic fairytale.  Rated PG.  

     

  • Summer Gaming

    Wednesday June 18 @ 3:30pm
    Hey kids, beat the heat this summer by challenging your friends to a video game. Wednesdays from 3:30pm to 5pm, you can try out our Xbox, Xbox 360, Playstation 4, and Wii consoles in the Main Library large meeting room.

     

  • Summer Reading Event: Magician Mark Alan

    What better way to explore science than through magic and comedy? Join us for a great show with Magician Mark Alan. He delights and amazes kids of all ages. Please note: Summer Reading Program performances will be held at the Hastings Recreation Center gym at 400 E. Harris St. Please wear rubber soled shoes. And, don't forget to stop by the library for your summer reading log.

  • Summer Reading Event: Wacky Wednesday

    Fizz Boom Read! Celebrate the beginning of summer reading with an "out of this world" party as we begin our summer of hands-on learning, science experiments, and make and take projects. Summer reading logs will be available for pick up and popsicles will be provided through partnership with The Hyppo, courtesy of the Friends of the Southeast Branch Library. 

     

  • Kids (Grades K-5) LEGO Club

    Come into the library to play with our LEGO bricks and pieces. We supply the LEGO bricks and fun - all you need to bring is your imagination. There is no registration or fee for this program.

     

     

  • Summer Reading Event: Dog Circus

    Dog CircusWednesday, June 18 @ 2:30pm & 3:30pm
    Come to the library to see some amazing dog tricks, learn some dog training and safety tips from our local experts Silke, Julie, and some special K-9 friends. To ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the program, there will be 90 tickets available 1 hour before each show. Children of all ages may attend; please be aware, however, that the Summer Reading Programs are designed for the school-age child.
