  • Nature Detectives: Bats

    Friday, June 27 @ 11am and 12pm
    The St. Augustine Garden Club is back with their popular Nature Detectives series. This summer they are focusing on bats and the how, where, and why they do what they do here in Florida. This program is designed for kids ages 6-11 and registration is required. Seating is limited so sign up at the children's desk right away. There will be programs at 11am and 12pm.

     

  • SE Kids Book Club

    Read The Missing Gator of Gumbo Limbo by Jean Craighead George on your own time and then come to the library for book-related activities.  Learn about the Florida Everglades and the alligators and other wildlife that can be helped through conservation efforts. Stop by the Southeast Youth Services Desk starting Tuesday, June 10 to sign up to participate and pick up a copy of the book.


  • Knotty Knitters

    Friday, June 27 @ 3pm

    Everyone is welcome to join the Southeast Branch's Knitting Club...The Knotty Knitters. All ages and abilities are encouraged to join and instruction can be provided to beginners. Make new friends and learn a new craft.

     

  • It Came From Outer Space Teen Event

    It Came From Outer SpaceFriday, June 27 @ 1pm
    What is that thing?! Shrinky dinks and lava lamps? Teens, come to the library for an out of this world program of cool crafts, yummy pizza, and a movie to entertain you on this hot, summer day. Call the library at 209-3730 for movie choices (all are rated PG or PG13.) This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Anastasia Island Branch Library.
