  • After-School Crafts with Teens

    art programWednesday, September 10 @ 4pm

    Children (K - 5th grade), and their caregivers, are invited to make crafts with the teens of Nease High School's Arts in Motion Club. Materials are provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. No registration is needed and it's free. Please Note: All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.

    Come join your fellow iPad users in this informal user group. Bring your favorite tip or app to share with attendees as well as some questions to pose to the group. Space is limited and sign-ups are required. Call the library at 827-6940 to register. Don't forget to bring your iPad.

     

  • Columbia Community Harvest Fundraiser

    Columbia Community HarvestThe Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine are very pleased to announce that Columbia Restaurant has selected us to participate in their 17th Community Harvest Program. During September the restaurant will donate 5% of selected meal checks to us.  Enjoy a delicious meal, select Friends of the Library on the ballot presented at the end of your meal and you're supporting your library!

    Join us for stories and games about music.  We'll learn about different instruments, how you can use your singing voice in different ways, and more. We'll craft our own instruments, too.

    There's no need to rush out after storytime - instead, stick around for Stay 'n Play. Relax with other adults while your child gets a chance to play and socialize, too! Games, puzzles, and toys are available.

  • St. Augustine Travel Club: Ecuador

    Wednesday, September 10 @ 3pm

    Have you ever considered retiring in a foreign country? Our own Mary Ellen Page will give a presentation on her experiences in Ecuador and her intentions of staying there. All are welcome to attend our free travel club meetings.

     

  • Kids (Grades K-5) LEGO Brick Fun

    Come into the library to play with our LEGO bricks and pieces. We supply the LEGO bricks and fun - all you need to bring is your imagination. There is no registration or fee for this program.

     

     

  • STAND Against Bullying with Mark Alan

    STAND Against Bullying is a 45-minute program focusing on a serious topic in a fun manner. Using comedy, magic, ventriloquism, musical routines, and lots of audience interaction, Mark helps give kids the tools they need to take a STAND against bullying. This program was made possible at all SJCPLS branch libraries through a Barbara A. Kay Foundation Grant.
