Teen Movie & Pizza Event

Teen Movie EventTeens (11-18) can come into the library to eat some pizza and watch a newly released movie about a group of space criminals who must work together to stop the fanatical villain, Ronan the Accuser, from destroying the galaxy. Come into the library to create some special winter crafts out of old books. You can choose to make a Christmas tree or some ornaments. We supply the books and materials, you supply the creativity.

Baby/Spanish Storytimes in December

Spanish StorytimesFridays @ 10:15am in the Childrens Department

Join us every Friday in December for a fun Spanish/English storytime in the Children's Department. We will have lapsits for babies, rhymes, stories, music, and more. This storytime is conducted in both English and Spanish and is geared towards children and parents learning Spanish, but all are welcome. Bienveniedos a todos!

 

Island Yoga with Marlene

Yoga is a great way to increase flexibility, lower stress, and improve energy. Registration and experience are not required. Wear some comfortable clothing and bring a mat, but, if you don’t have one, towels are fine to use. This class is free and open to the public.
