This free class emphasizes stretching, coordination of breath with movement, and attention to alignment. The class is designed to create breath awareness, enhance balance, and increase flexibility. Stretching is great for those who are experiencing joint sensitivity, or overall stiffness. Wear loose clothing, bring a towel & mat. Presented by yoga instructor, Gina Mercado.

Kids can learn about the advent of pottery in Florida and do hands-on experimentation using pottery-making and decorating technology. They will learn how pottery helps archaeologists understand a site and its prehistoric people. Children of all ages may attend; please be aware, however, that the Summer Reading Events are intended for the school-age child. To ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the program, there will be 95 tickets available 1 hour before each show. This program is sponsored and hosted by the Florida Public Archaeology Network.

Everyone is invited to the library to see and experience the variety of programs we offer, and enter a chance to win a beautiful Sisterhood of the Traveling Plants flower arrangement or autographed Nancy Haddock book. There will be hourly door prizes.
