The Knit Wits is a family affair. Kids 8-17 are welcome to learn to knit, or bring along mom so she can learn too. Learn to knit, or bring in something you’ve already started, and knit with the group. Please bring your own knitting needles, if you have them.

Give your feet a treat by experiencing Raindrop Therapy. Inspired by the Lakota Indians, Raindrop Therapy uses therapeutic oils for balancing and rejuvenating the mind and body. When properly applied to the neck, back, and feet, these essential oils can bring about electrical alignment and help relieve a variety of discomforts caused by imbalances in the body. The AARP Tax-Aide program offers free, one-on-one counseling to help individuals prepare basic tax forms, including the 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ, and other standard schedules. Counseling is available to all low-to-middle income taxpayers, regardless of age. No advance registration is needed, people will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. Individuals must bring a photo ID, last year's tax return, and all relevant tax information with them.

This free class emphasizes stretching, coordination of breath with movement, and attention to alignment. The class is designed to create breath awareness, enhance balance, and increase flexibility. Stretching is great for those who are experiencing joint sensitivity, or overall stiffness. Wear loose clothing, bring a towel & mat. Presented by yoga instructor, Gina Mercado.
