Visit us this weekend and pick out a book or two or twenty. On Saturday only, prices will be reduced by 50% and you can even fill a grocery sack with dollar books for seven dollars.

Paige Hunt, aka The Spa Lady, will be providing brief spa treatments in our community room, from 11am to noon. Join author Barbara Legge as she tells stories from her book "Old Lady Flute--She Tells All!" A member of the Florida Writers and Florida Storytelling associations, Legge will tell fun stories about growing up in the 40's and 50's, as well as her work as a professional clown, dog groomer and massage therapist.
Book Drop Relocated
In order to serve our patrons better, we have relocated our book drop to improve traffic flow in the area. Please look for the new book drop under our new white awning near the fountain.

Teens (Age 12+) are invited to celebrate Banned Books Week with us by creating personalized journals. We'll have all the supplies needed to create a stylish journal; all you need to bring is your imagination. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Anastasia Island Library.

Celebrate National Comic Book Day with author/illustrator, Andre Frattino. He will be making a special appearance at the Anastasia Island Branch Library to bring alive his artwork for kids of all ages. Andre has appeared at the St. Augustine Beach Art Association and other libraries and will be a participant in this year’s Florida Heritage Book Festival.

Kids and teens, celebrate International Peace Day by creating fabulous peace crafts. We'll make pinwheels, create beautiful chalk murals, make peace rocks, and create a zen garden space. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Anastasia Island Library.
