Meet Bull Meecham, a Marine fighter pilot who rules both his squadron and family with an iron fist. His wife, Lillian is more level-headed and protects her children from the harshness of her husband. Their eldest son Ben must find the courage to stand up for himself against a father who will never give him his approval. Try as you might to hate him, Bull Meecham is a character readers love. This month's selection is 11/22/63 by Stephen King. Life can change in an instant as it does for Jake Epping, a high school English teacher in Lisbon Falls, Maine. Al, Jake’s friend and owner of a local diner, asks for Jake’s help to stop the Kennedy Assassination. Hidden in the diner’s storeroom is a portal that transports Jake back to 1958, where he begins a new life and where all roads lead to Lee Harvey Oswald. Join us we explore a new course in history and find answers to all those “what if” questions. New members are always welcome.
