Children's FLYP Event: "Meet Your Local Super Heroes and Ice Cream Party"

We've saved our best program for last! Come out and meet your local super heroes! You can explore the fire truck and meet real fire fighters! Then, celebrate your summer reading with ice cream! Bartram Trail Book Club

Everyone is invited to discuss Kate Morton's newest novel, The Secret Keeper. It explores longings and dreams, the lengths people go to fulfill them, and the consequences they can have. It is a story of lovers, friends, dreamers, and schemers told in Morton's signature style against a backdrop of events that changed the world. New members are always welcome.

International Affairs Discussion Group

The International Affairs Discussion Group will meet at 6:30pm to discuss international current events. The discussion will be moderated by Joseph Warner, retired U.S. diplomat and adjunct professor of Geography and International Relations at Florida State College at Jacksonville. A reading list of suggested books and articles will be available in time to prepare for the discussions. The topic this month is "U.S. and its Place in the Changing World."
