Journey back in time and experience a little history with us in the second of this two-part Books & Bites series. Books & Bites, a delightful cooking demonstration, combines our love of literature and food. In this installment, enjoy samples that may have been served below stairs, take home new recipes, and gain a taste of what it might have been like to be a member of the household staff in grand estates like Highclere Castle, the real-life setting of Downton Abbey. Call 827-6960 or stop by the library to reserve your seat. Reservations accepted through October 17.
