This month we're reading The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order by Samuel P. Huntington. Read the book and join us for a rousing discussion, moderated by Joseph Warner, retired U.S. diplomat and present adjunct professor of Geography and International Relations at Florida State College at Jacksonville. Book description: "In this incisive work, the renowned political scientist explains how 'civilizations' have replaced nations and ideologies as the driving force in global politics today and offers a brilliant analysis of the current climate and future possibilities of our world's volatile political culture."

Florida State Park Ranger Tonya will join Children's Librarian Miss Lisa for a children’s book read-along in celebration of "September is Literacy Month." This fun storytime event will feature nature themed books and will be held at 10:10 for toddlers and 11:00 for preschoolers.

You can create custom reports for an area as specific as a one mile radius, or a specific zip code, or a whole county. You'll learn consumer demographics - such as how much people in a specific area spend on dine out, or cars, or women’s shoes.
