Sage Singer strikes up a friendship with Josef Weber, the community’s beloved retired teacher and little league coach. One day Josef asks Sage to kill him. Shocked by his request, she refuses. Then Josef confesses his darkest secret: he was a Nazi SS guard and therefore, deserves to die. To complicate things further, Sage’s grandmother is a Holocaust survivor. Can Sage offer Josef forgiveness, even though she was not the one wronged? And if she honors his request, is it murder or justice? New members are always welcome.
