Family Storytime: Wednesdays @ 10:15am
Storytimes are every Wednesday June 4 - July 30th. This program is geared toward a wide range of ages including families with toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary-aged children. Includes music, stories, and classroom-type interaction. (Program is 25-30 minutes.) We look forward to seeing you all. For more information on storytimes at other branches click here.

Is it too hot to be outside? Then come on in and watch a movie on our big screen. Each week we'll be showing a movie with a G or PG rating, so it's fun for the whole family. Attention math geeks and science nerds: your parents need your help to save energy AND money. Come to our DIY Science program and learn how to measure energy used in your home. You can then use these calculations to see where you can make some changes to save money AND help save the earth. You’ll be able to borrow a home energy kit for two weeks to do your own experiments at home. Recommended for ages 10 and up (unless you’re a MATH GENIUS.) Please bring your adult with you. SJCPLS and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants are teaming up to celebrate Wi$e Money Week, May 11-17, 2014. The Social Security Workshop focuses on issues important for those nearing retirement and the Estate Planning Workshop focuses on changes that may affect your estate planning. Join us anytime after school (2pm - 8pm) on April 17 to celebrate the announcement of the 2014 Teen Top Ten nominees. Have a sweet treat and browse through previous years' winners to find a new great read.

Looking for something both fun and educational to do while on Spring Break? Gather the family, friends, and neighbors and come to the reptile show at the library. LB Reptiles present lizards, snakes, turtles, and more to us. This program helps educate children about the needs, conservation, and care of these wonderful reptiles.
