The Jacksonville Genealogy Society will be holding a four-session, Intermediate Genealogy Class, featuring research in the U.S., from 10am to 2pm at the Bartram Trail Branch Library on the following Saturdays: November 23rd, December 7th, 14th, and 21st. Topics will include: Genealogical identification; records & sources - analysis & evaluation; vital records (government & church); land records; immigration & naturalization; often overlooked sources; planning a research trip; publishing your history, and more. The Jacksonville Genealogy Society will be holding a three-session Intermediate Genealogy Class, featuring research in the U.S. It will be held from 10:15 am to 2:15 pm at the Bartram Trail Branch Library on the following Saturdays: December 1st, 8th, and 15th. Topics will include: Genealogical identification; records & sources - analysis & evaluation; vital records (government & church); land records; immigration & naturalization; often overlooked sources; planning a research trip; publishing your history, and more. Certificates of completion will be given to those persons who attend at least two of the three class dates. There is no charge to attend this class and free parking is available at the library. The Teen Anime Club is having a Halloween party and we'll be viewing a creepy anime feature. Wearing a costume isn't required, but it's definitely encouraged. Party refreshments are provided by the Friends of the Bartram Trail Branch Library.

Children of all ages may attend; please be aware, however, that FLYP programs are geared toward the school-age child. Strollers and street shoes will not be permitted in the building.
