Children's Summer Film Festival

Tuesdays, June 18 & 25 @ 2 pm
Too hot to be outside?  Then come on in and watch a movie on our big screen!  Each week we'll be showing a movie with a G or PG rating, so it's fun for the whole family. Please call the Bartram Trail Branch Library at 827-6960 for movie titles and ratings. We'll provide the snacks; bring your own drinks.

Science for Kids

Attention math geeks and science nerds: your parents need your help to save energy AND money. Come to our DIY Science program and learn how to measure energy used in your home. You can then use these calculations to see where you can make some changes to save money AND help save the earth. You’ll be able to borrow a home energy kit for two weeks to do your own experiments at home. Recommended for ages 10 and up (unless you’re a MATH GENIUS.) Please bring your adult with you. You can register by calling 827-6960. Presented for free by Project Green Team in conjunction with JEA and the St. Johns County Public Library System.

Kick Off Children's Book Week with Bingo for Books

Looking for fun for the whole family? Come in and play Bingo for Books from 2pm to 3pm today. Everyone is guaranteed to go home with at least one free book. Books are generously donated by the Friends of the Bartram Trail Branch Library.

Children's Art Activity (Grades 3 - 5)

Teen Volunteer Orientation

Jacksonville Genealogical Society, Inc. (JGS) (http://jaxgen.org) will be holding the final class of a four-session Beginner Genealogy Class, featuring research in the U.S. It will be held from 10:15 am to 1:15 pm at the Bartram Trail Branch Library, 60 Davis Pond Blvd, Fruit Cove, FL 32259.

These sessions are for the beginner researcher and the experienced researcher looking for a refresher course. Certificates of Completion will be given to those persons who attend at least three of the four class dates. Free parking is available at the Library and there is no charge for the class.
