Summer Reading Event: Meet Your Local Super Heroes

Thursday, July 31 @ 10am

fire truckCome and meet our local Super Heroes. The men and women of the Switzerland Fire House will bring the fire fighting trucks and an ambulance for you to explore. They will also teach us lots of way to be safe in our homes and neighborhoods.

Bartram Trail’s FLYP Programs take place at 10am and are held at the Family Activities Building (FAB) at Switzerland Community Church located at 2179 State Road 13. Children of all ages may attend; please be aware, however, that FLYP Programs are designed for the school-age child. Strollers and street shoes will not be permitted in the building. Bartram Trail Book Club

Everyone is invited to discuss Teacher Man, the memoir by Frank McCourt. This is McCourt's third book and tells the story of his 30-year career as a high school and college teacher in New York. New members are always welcome.

 

Summer Reading Event: Telescope and Binocular Workshop

Do you have a telescope or binoculars? Did you know the library has one of each that you can check out? Bring your own or learn how to use the library's equipment at this hands-on workshop presented by members of the Northeast Florida Astronomy Society. Book Sale

Do you love books? Do you love your library? The Friends of the Bartram Trail Branch Library will hold this month's book sale from 9:30am to noon -- books of all kinds and items such as DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes, and audiobooks will be available.
Proceeds from the book sale support programs at the Bartram Trail Branch Library.
