legosThere's no need to rush out after storytime - instead, stick around for Stay 'n Play. Relax with other adults while your child gets a chance to play and socialize, too. Games, puzzles, and toys are available.

 


Family Storytime

storytimeChildren of all ages are welcome at Family Storytime. Each week we explore a different theme through stories, non-fiction, puppets, and more. Music, movement, and a craft are part of the fun, too.

 


Drop Everything and Read Event: Read to Morgan the Parrot

Saturday, April 25 @ 1 pm

Kids are invited to come and read to Morgan the parrot, a blue crowned conure. Mr. Brad will be bringing him to the library for a special appearance in honor of Drop Everything and Read month. Kids may come with their favorite book to read from or ask Ms. Michelle to help them choose one from the shelf.


AARP Tax Assistance

Thursday, April 9 @ 2pm

TaxesThe AARP Tax-Aide program offers free, one-on-one counseling to help individuals prepare basic tax forms, including the 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ, and other standard schedules. Counseling is available to all low-to-middle income taxpayers, regardless of age. No advance registration is needed, people will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. Individuals must bring a photo ID, last year's tax return, and all relevant tax information with them.


Beginning Sign Language

Thursday, April 9 @ 11 am

Do you want to learn another language? Learn signed English at the library with other beginners. You'll progress in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere.
