Nightime animals, sights, and sounds is what we'll explore in this week's storytime. Learn how a baby bat learns to find his way in the dark in Nightsong and how a family learns to spend time together in Blackout. We'll sing, dance, and make a craft, too.

What do eyes, shoes, and twins have in common? They all come in pairs. This week we'll read and learn about things that come in twos. Kids can partipate in a felt board activity. Join us for music and a craft, too.

St. Johns Reads Event: Family Storytime

We celebrate Florida this week with the folktale, Kissimmee Pete, Cracker Cow Hunter and other stories about our state. Puppets in the form of alligators, birds, and other Florida creatures will also make an appearance. Join us for music and a craft, too.

 

 

Hastings Library Closed Through January 31

The Hastings Branch Library will be closed through Friday, January 31 for roof repairs. The library book drop will be locked, but all items checked out at the Hastings Branch may be returned to another branch or the Bookmobile.

Teen Book Club

Sixteen-year-old Lutie Painter has skipped school for the first time, has borded a bus and is headed toward danger. Throughout her small town, other people start their days, some with worry, others with hopes, and still others with anger. All of these lives will become interwined in this story, set in a southern town.
