Dinosaur Thunder book coverBring the kids to storytime for books and songs about that creature kids go crazy for: dinosaurs. We’ll read stories such as Countasauras by Megan Bryant and Dinosaur Thunder by Marion Dane Bauer. We’ll also do a dino-craft to take home.

National Library Card Sign-up Month: Family Storytime

September is National Library Card Sign-up Month. Join us at storytime and bring a friend. We’ll read Kevin Goes to the Library, When the Library Lights Go Out, and other stories. Plus, we sing, dance, and do a craft.

 

 

Book Club

Thursday, August 15 @ 10 am

old booksThe Golden Age of Detective Fiction refers not only to the period of time (1913-1940), but the style of writing. The British authors ruled during this time with Agatha Christie, "the queen of mystery" and Dorothy L. Sayers as two of the best known. Read stories by a couple of Golden Age authors so we can compare/contrast writing styles.

 

After Hours Back-to-School Event

Friday, August 23 @ 6 pm

pens, notebooksVisit the library and get ready for success this school year. Enjoy refreshments, learn about accessing study materials 24-7, and pick up some school supplies at our giveaway. Please note: Children and teens receiving supplies must be present.
