storytimeChildren of all ages are welcome at Family Storytime. Each week we explore a different theme through stories, non-fiction, puppets, and more. Music, movement, and a craft are part of the fun, too.

Come into the library to play with our LEGO bricks and pieces. We supply the LEGO bricks and fun - all you need to bring is your imagination. There is no registration or fee for this program.

 

 

William Bartram Living History Program

Tuesday, July 28 @ 10am

alligatorChildren are invited to explore life along the St. Johns River as experienced by William H.  Bartram. Mike Adams performs as Bartram, recounting the "critters" he encountered in the wilds of Florida in the late 1700's. Parents and children alike will be captivated by the adventures of the first American-born naturalist. This program will be presented at the W.E. Harris Center, Harris Street.

Registration open for Nature Detective Workshops and My Little Pony Club

View full imageStarting May 18, children ages 6 - 12 interested in the Nature Detective Workshops (focusing on dragonflies and hummingbirds) held on Saturday, July 11 at 1:00 and 2:30 pm (repeat workshop) and children ages 6 - 10 interested in our summertime My Little Pony Club (meeting once a month, June - August) are invited to register for these opportunities at the Reference Desk of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library or by calling the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library at 827-6950. Space and materials are limited, so pre-registration is a must to attend these programs! 

These wonderful programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra  sisterhoodBeach Branch Library, and in the case of the Nature Detective Workshops, also sponsored by the Garden Club of St. Augustine! Please Note:  When registering, please remember that all children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of any library programs at the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.

 

Kids Summer Program: MINION-CON!

Minion-ConWednesday, July 29 @ 2:30pm

Bee doo! Bee doo! Bee doo! Minions Stuart, Kevin and Bob are this summer's big stars and unlikely heroes. Come to the library for MINION-CON.  We will have a photo station where you can dress-up, food station to eat special Minion food, and crafting stations to make some fun Minion crafts.  Feel free to come in costume . . . we will!  Don't forget your cameras!!!
