Children and their parents are invited to celebrate MoneyWi$e week. Learning how to save at an early age just makes cents (sense). We'll share some smart and fun ways children can start saving and earning money. We'll also be crafting piggy banks to store that new found wealth. If you can't make it to this program, check out some of our personal finance and money books perfect for little ones.

Join us after school for a hands-on, minds-on science program and work closely with our very own mad scientists from the Children's Department. Explore a variety of science topics through fun experiments, activities, and lively discussions. This month we'll be making and shooting off Bottle Rockets. All materials for experiments provided. If you can't make it to the science lab, check out some of our amazing science project books.

It is fun for the whole family. Please call the Main Library at 827-6940 for movie title and rating. Plenty of pillow seating and free organic popcorn, courtesy of Diane's Natural Food Market.
