Celebrate Children’s Book Week at storytime. This week we’ll be going to the zoo with books, music, and puppets. We’ll finish with a craft. Join us for the fun.

 

Get Caught Reading (All Month Long)

May is Get Caught Reading month. Children and teens “caught” reading in the library, and elsewhere any time throughout the month of May, will receive a ticket to be entered into a weekly raffle. See a child or teen reading? Snap a picture and bring it to the library. Entrants will also have their pictures taken and posted on the bulletin board if they like. This annual national campaign is supported by the Association of American Publishers.

 

Stay 'n Play

No need to rush out after storytime. Stay for playtime with puzzles, toys, and games. Your child will get a chance to socialize, and you will, too.

Storytime celebrates families today. Join us for stories such as "How to Be a Baby: by Me the Big Sister" by Sally Lloyd-Jones. We’ll also sing, dance, and do a craft.

Magical Mermaid and Princess Program for Kids

Saturday, May 4 @ 1pm
girlsIt’ll be a magical, sparkly Saturday at the library. Listen to princess and mermaid stories, make your own magic wand and “fairies in a jar,” play games, and have a sweet snack.  Do you like to dress up? Come as a mermaid or fairy.

Single Vision Animals @ the Library

Come visit with our animal guests to learn how you can help protect wildlife and make a difference. Tigers are going extinct and we need to take a stand. The folks from Single Vision will bring an assortment of exotic and endangered animals for you to see and learn about their plight. Extinction is forever but you can help.
