Kids and tweens can come into the library to learn with us during our Hour of Code! We will have some iPads for kids to share, or bring in your own tablet. LB Reptile Experience is coming during National Library Week! Tell your friends and join us on March 19 if you want to get up close and personal with lizards, snakes, turtles and more. Join us every Friday for a fun Spanish/English storytime in the Children's Department. We will have lapsits for babies, rhymes, stories, music, and more. This storytime is conducted in both English and Spanish and is geared toward children and parents learning Spanish, but all are welcome. Bienveniedos a todos!

Storytimes run through April 29. Baby & Toddler storytimes are for children up to 18 months of age. Craft time is open to all children and focuses on teaching scissor, glue, and coloring skills. Preschool storytimes are open to any child who can sit for longer stories and participate in active songs, counting and colors in Spanish. Come for songs, stories, and fun. Celebrate Teen Tech Week with Main-iac Labs. Explore new territory by participating in the world wide Hour of Code! Teens and pre-teens can explore a basic introduction to computer science and even learn basic programming skills using the Angry Birds platform. The lessons increase in difficulty as you move through them so come back each month to increase your skills. This one hour program is designed to demystify code and show that anyone can learn the basics. There will be guided lessons as well as individual and group exploration. You can bring your own laptop or tablet or you can borrow one of ours. Supplies are limited. Sponsored by the Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine.

It's time for the Florida Library Youth Program at Main. Join us each Thursday for another great summer program in the large meeting room. This year's theme is "Every Hero Has A Story" and we are kicking off the season at Main with a great new family film. When a criminal plot threatens the hi-tech metropolis of San Fransokyo, our young hero leaps into action with his tech-savvy friends, and his large round robot companion. Rated PG. Toddler Time is a storytime program designed for children ages 1-3 years of age. Join Mr. Andy and Ms. Marcia in the Large Meeting Room for singing, dancing, and stories.
