Family Storytime

Lizards, dogs, hamsters, and chinchillas are just a few examples of pets, the feature of this week’s storytime. Join us in reading Children Make Terrible Pets and other stories. We’ll also dance, sing, and do a craft.
Special Event: Visit with your local St. Johns County Firefighters!

Instead of our regular storytimes, we will be having our St. Johns County firefighters here at Anastasia Island Library! Come out to meet your local heroes and take a tour of their fire truck and learn what a firefighter does! Be sure to bring your camera to get some great pictures.
Viva Florida 500! -- LB Reptiles!

Looking for something both fun and educational to do while on Spring Break? Gather the family, friends, and neighbors and come to the reptile show at the library! LB Reptiles will bring lizards, snakes, turtles and more to our library! This program helps educate children about the needs, conservation, and care of these wonderful reptiles. Kids Bingo for Books!

Looking for something fun to do during Spring Break? Grab the kids and the kids' friends and come on in and play Bingo for Books from 3 to 4 pm today. Everyone is guaranteed to go home with at least one free book. Books are generously donated by the Friends of the Bartram Trail Branch Library!
Chess Club for Grades 5 - 12

Children's Movie Matinee

It's an early release day, so grab your friends and join us at 3 pm to watch as Princess Merida, an archer and self-reliant young woman, makes a decision which defies custom and brings chaos to her kingdom. Seussapalooza!

"Grab your Hat and Read with the Cat!" Children of all ages are invited to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday at the biggest and best birthday bash ever! Pick up your Seuss passport starting at 2 pm and visit the various arts and crafts stations in the Children's Department. Birthday treats will be served during a showing of a Dr. Seuss film at 3 pm. All completed passports will be entered into a prize drawing at 4 pm. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Southeast Branch Library.

Toddler Storytime: Wednesdays @ 10:10 am
Preschool Storytime: Wednesdays @ 11 am
Storytimes are every Wednesday January 2nd - April 24th. Toddler storytimes are geared for children 15 months to 3 years and their caregivers, but is open to all ages. (Program is approximately 20 minutes.) Preschool storytimes are for children ages 3 to 5 years. Children are encouraged to attend independently. Caregivers may stay in the room or close by in the library. Includes music, stories, and classroom-type interaction. (Program is 25-30 minutes.) We look forward to seeing you all!! Just for Babies @ Bartram Trail
Just for Babies: Tuesdays @ 11:05am
