MAIN-iac Science Lab

Join us after school for a hands-on, minds-on science program and work closely with our very own mad scientists from the Children's Department. Explore a variety of science topics through fun experiments, activities, and lively discussions. With topics ranging from rocketry and magnets to polymers and electricity, kids become turned on to the science that is around them every day and realize it's COOL! If you can't make it to one of our science labs, check out some of our amazing science project books.
Family Event: Teddy Bear Sleepover

If your little one has ever asked the question, "What does my teddy bear do all night?," then this is the perfect children's program for your family. Bring your teddy bear or another stuffed friend to our super-sweet Teddy Bear Sleepover Party! We'll tell stories, share fun crafts, have a bedtime snack, and tuck our little friends into bed for a sleepover at the library. Pick up your friend a couple of days later after the sleepover fun is done, along with a special souvenir! Be sure to check out some of our teddy bear books. Shhh...teddy bears sleeping…

Viva Florida 500: Family Storytime Celebrating Birds!

Join Ms. Anne for stories about birds as well as the usual songs, dancing, and fingerplays and then go behind the library to Bird Island Park to make a special "tweet" with Ms. Suzanne: pinecone birdfeeders! This special storytime is made possible by the partnership of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library and Bird Island Park and is sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. Join us as we read fun bird books, then enjoy Florida birds in Bird Island Park while making birdfeeders for our beaky friends!
