PAWS Therapy Dogs

Come to the Hastings Branch Library to meet the PAWS Therapy Dogs. This fun and educational program will focus on responsible dog ownership, how to be safe around dogs, adopting from shelters, and more! Meet some adorable white boxers and get a free coloring book.

Family Storytime: Fire safety

Halloween Storytimes @ the Library!

Dress up in your costume and come in for our Halloween storytimes! This week, we will be having special Halloween storytimes and a very special Halloween craft during our craft time. After the 11:05 Pre-School storytime, the kids can trick-or-treat with our staff here in the library for a few goodies!
Lil' Pumpkin Patch Party

Little pumpkins have a Halloween party of their very own in our toddler and preschool un-scary party and parade! Carnival-style games, yummy treats & prizes, Halloween snow cones, add up to a pumpkin patch of fun for little ones! Stellaluna will be flying by for a special visit, to share her batastic story through shadow puppets and lead a costume parade through the library. Be sure to bring your camera; it’s going to be super-cute! This FREE program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library of St. Johns County.
Scooby Doo & the Painted Pumpkin Hullabaloo

Children of all ages are invited to join us in celebrating the arrival of Halloween with Scooby Doo and the rest of the spook-busting, case-cracking Mystery, Inc. gang. Kids can paint and decorate a small pumpkin to take home, then snuggle up on our comfy pillow seating for an airing of one Scooby's frightening adventures! Pumpkins & scooby snacks provided by the Friends of the Library.
October Storytimes @ Main Library
We can't wait for you to join us for all the laughs with books, songs, stories and fun at our during our Fall Storytime season! We'll be learning about ABCs, Fire Safety, and Halloween this month. We'll see you on Thursdays, October 4, 11, & 18! No Storytimes on October 25.

A gentle lapsit program with action rhymes, fingerplays, and first books for babies. For pre-walkers only, please.
Toddler Time 11 am
We'll sing, we'll dance, and share our excitement for books and learning at the library. Don't be shy and bring your dancing shoes!
Preschool Storytime 11:30 am
"Big Kids" get a storytime of their own. Longer stories, a variety of early literacy concepts, listening, and pre-classroom skills. Perfect for 3-5 year olds.
