Halloween Happenings! Magic Show and Trail of Treats
Friday, October 26 @ 3 pm
Hey! It's a teacher planning day--so what is there to do? Come to the library and watch the Doctor Magic Show at 3 pm. Get in some early trick-or-treating at our trail of treats. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. This program is sponsored by the Bartram Trail Branch Friends of the Library.
LEGO Club for Tweens
Wednesday, October 10 from 4 - 5 pm
Tweens ages 9 - 13/4th - 7th grade ONLY are invited to come on out and bring your friends for an afternoon of fun building with Legos and hanging out at the library. No registration is necessary and it's free! Thanks to our Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library for providing the Legos for this very special program just for Tweens!
After-School Crafts with Teens
Wednesday, October 3 from 4 - 5 pm
Children in Kindergarten - 5th grade ONLY and their caregivers are invited to make crafts with the teens of Nease High School's Arts in Motion Club! Materials are provided thanks to Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library, no registration needed, and it's FREE! PLEASE NOTE: All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
Family Storytime

Join us for stories, music, puppets, and a craft. It’s not only fun, it helps your child begin to build important literacy skills and a love of reading. This week’s theme is “Dogs.”
"Just for Babies" and Family Storytime w/Ms. Anne - FALL 2012 Schedule
Just for Babies - Held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday mornings, September - November, at 10:15 am; babies up to 15 months and their caregivers. This infant lapsit is designed for one-on-one interaction between caregiver and baby. Families with multiple children are encouraged to attend Family Storytime. Just for Babies Dates: September 4 and 18; October 2 and 16; and November 6 and 20.
Family Storytime - Held every Tuesday morning, September - November, at 11 am; aimed at children 16 months - 5 years and their families, though no child will be turned away! Hispanic Heritage Month Event: Fiesta USA
Monday, September 17 @ 6 pm
We are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, and promoting Latin culture, music, and dance this September. We'll remember the anniversary of the independence of 7 Latin American countries by sharing one of our favorite children's books in Spanish and English, crafting tissue paper flowers, showing off our moves with the Mexican hat dance, enjoying churros, and much more! After School Gaming
Thursday, September 13 @ 4 pm
School-age children, tweens, and teens choose what they want to play after school at the Main library. A selection of video game choices for X-box 360, PS3, & Wii consoles will be offered. Complimentary snacks and soda will be provided. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library and Sony.
Peace Day Pinwheels for Peace
Friday, September 21 @ 4 pm
The International Day of Peace is devoted to commemorating and strengthening the ideals of peace both within and among all nations and peoples. This year we invite school age children to realize a culture of peace for all with us by crafting paper peace pinwheels. The finished pinwheels will be placed in the ground in front of the library to celebrate Peace Day. Enjoy peace snow cones while crafting or watching the pinwheels spin together outside.
International Day of Peace Drum Circle
