After-School Crafts with Teens

art programWednesday, March 12 @ 4pm

Children (K - 5th grade), and their caregivers, are invited to make crafts with the teens of Nease High School's Arts in Motion Club. Materials are provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library, no registration is needed and it's free. Please Note: All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.

 

Teens Read with Kids

storytimeSaturday, March 8 from 10am - 12pm
All children are invited to be read to by a teen, or practice reading to a teen, in the Children's Department - this program is presented by the teens of Ponte Vedra High School's Book Club. Select what you'd like to hear, read from any of our books, or bring your favorites from home. Please note:  All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the program and to be a teen participating in the program, you must be a member of the Ponte Vedra High School Book Club.


Bedtime Storytime

Wear your PJs to this special session of our regular Wednesday storytime where we do storytime backwards. Arts and crafts come first and then we will wind down with some favorite stories. This is a family program that is suitable for all young children.

We "mustache" you to come to this hairy storytime. Don't miss some great stories, including Mo's Mustache and Moosetache.

 

Read to Rover

Elementary students and beginning readers are invited to join our volunteer therapy dogs for a barking good time. Read your favorite stories to these clever canines and become a member of the Read to Rover Frequent Reader Club. Don't miss this great experience.

Come visit with Maddie, Clifford, or Cookie. Read them one of your favorite books or one of the many doggie tales we have at the library.

Seussapalooza

Grab your Hat and Read with the Cat! Children of all ages are invited to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday at the biggest and best birthday bash ever. Pick up your Seuss passport starting at 2pm and visit the various arts & crafts stations in the Children's Department. Enjoy birthday treats and learn some fun science facts from the Cat himself.
