Sadie, the friendliest dog in St. Johns County, will be at the library to listen to children read aloud. This is a great program not only for dog lovers, but for shy or reluctant readers.
January Storytimes @ Main Library!
The holidays may be over, but we can't wait for you to join us for all the laughs with books, songs, stories and fun at our during our Winter Storytime season! We'll have these themes this month: Winter, Dogs, Cats, and Bathtime.

Baby Time 10:15 am
A gentle lapsit program with action rhymes, fingerplays, and first books for babies. For infants & pre-walkers only, please.
Toddler Time 11 am
We'll sing, we'll dance, and share our excitement for books and learning at the library. Don't be shy and bring your dancing shoes!
Preschool Storytime 11:30 am
"Big Kids" get a storytime of their own. Longer stories, a variety of early literacy concepts, listening, and pre-classroom skills. Perfect for 3-5 year olds.
"Un-Scary" Halloween Party for Babies, Toddlers, and Preschoolers!
Thursday, October 11 from 10:15 - 11:15 am
Halloween Costume Parade will begin at 11 am! All babies, toddlers, preschoolers and their caregivers are invited to join us for games, crafts, prizes, a costume parade through the library, and more to celebrate Halloween! Costumes are encouraged, but not required. Please Note: Bring your own camera to take pictures of your child(ren) at our "Pun-kin Pictures" station! This special party for our littlest library patrons and their families is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. Family Storytime celebrating Local Superheroes!

Today's Family Storytime will celebrate our local superheroes - our St. Johns County Fire Fighters! Join Ms. Anne today for Family Storytime for songs, dancing, and a take-home craft and for stories read by our fire fighters! "Just for Babies" and Family Storytime w/Ms. Anne - OCTOBER DATES
Just for Babies - Held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday mornings, September - November, at 10:15 am; babies up to 15 months and their caregivers. This infant lapsit is designed for one-on-one interaction between caregiver and baby. Families with multiple children are encouraged to attend Family Storytime. Just for Babies October Dates: October 2 and 16
Family Storytime - Held every Tuesday morning, September - November, at 11 am; aimed at children 16 months - 5 years and their families, though no child will be turned away! Family Game Time
Wednesday, September 26 from 3 - 6 pm
On the 4th Wednesday of every month between 3 - 6 pm, the whole family is invited to the library to play board games! Simply use your library card or driver's license to check out a board game or two from the Reference Desk and play anywhere in the library. Challenge your family and friends to your favorite games! FREE Nemours BrightStart Screenings for Preschoolers Ages 3 - 5
Tuesday, September 18 from 10 am - 12:30 pm
Children ages 3 - 5 are invited to receive a 10-minute FREE Early Literacy Screening at the Library courtesy of Nemours BrightStart! Registration will be taken on a first-come, first serve basis on this day by Angela of Nemours. Nemours BrightStart will be returning on October 16 and November 27 to conduct more screenings at the Library for those not able to take advantage of the opportunity on this date. Utilize this free screening to find out where your child's literacy strengths lay and what you can do to help them improve in any other areas before they start school!
LEGO Club for Tweens
Wednesday, September 12 from 4 - 5 pm
Tweens ages 9 - 13/4th - 7th grade ONLY are invited to come on out and bring your friends for an afternoon of fun building with Legos and hanging out at the library. No registration is necessary and it's free! Thanks to our Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library for providing the Legos for this very special program just for Tweens!
