Tweens ages 9 - 13/4th - 7th grade ONLY are invited to come on out and bring your friends for an afternoon of fun building with Legos and hanging out at the library. No registration is necessary and it's free! Thanks to our Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library for providing the Legos for this very special program just for Tweens!
After-School Crafts with Teens
Wednesday, September 5 from 4 - 5 pm
Children in Kindergarten - 5th grade ONLY and their caregivers are invited to make crafts with the teens of Nease High School's Arts in Motion Club! Materials are provided thanks to Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library, no registration needed, and it's FREE! PLEASE NOTE: All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.

All children ages 3 - 5 are invited to receive a 10-minute FREE Early Literacy Screening at the Library courtesy of Nemours BrightStart! Utilize this wonderful opportunity to find out where your child's literacy strengths lay and what you can do to help them improve in any other areas before they start school!

Just for Babies - Held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday mornings, September - November, at 10:15 am; babies up to 15 months and their caregivers. This infant lapsit is designed for one-on-one interaction between caregiver and baby. Families with multiple children are encouraged to attend Family Storytime. Family Storytime - Held every Tuesday morning, September - November, at 11 am; aimed at children 16 months - 5 years and their families, though no child will be turned away! Family Storytime September Dates: September 4, 11, 18, and 25. Find more information on systemwide library storytimes, please go here: storytimes. Please note: Family Storytime on Sept. 25 will be held in the Children's Department due to our Friends of the Library's Book Sale.
Don't forget: September is National Library Card sign-up month! Children of all ages (even newborns!) are eligible for library cards. Get one today!

Due to Early Voting today, this program will be held in the Children's Department. As all storytimes for St. Johns County Public Libraries are on hiatus in August due to fall and Halloween planning, thanks to Ms. Suzanne - Bird Island Park volunteer - Family Storytime will be held on August 7 and 14 at 11 am at the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library! Families with young children are invited to come out to enjoy songs, dancing, stories, nursery rhymes, and more with Ms. Suzanne. Although these programs are aimed at ages 16 months - 5 years, all children (including babies) and their families are very welcome at Family Storytime. Ms. Anne's "Just for Babies" and Family Storytimes will return for the fall session on Tuesday, September 4!

After Hours Back-to-School Event
Friday, August 24 @ 6 pm
Visit the library and get ready for success this school year. Have a hot dog, learn about accessing study materials 24-7, and pick up some school supplies at our giveaway. Please note: Children must be present to receive supplies.
