Earth Day Nature Film

In honor of Earth Day, children, teens, and families are invited to view a film about an adorable baby chimp named Oscar and his entertaining approach to life in a remarkable story of family bonds and individual triumph. This film is rated G. Light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Southeast Branch Library.

 

National Library Week: Bedtime Storytime

Wear your PJs to this special session of our regular Wednesday storytime where we do storytime backwards. Arts and crafts come first and then we will wind down with some favorite stories. This is a family program that is suitable for all young children.

Grab your Hat and Read with the Cat! Children of all ages are invited to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday at the biggest and best birthday bash ever. Pick up your Seuss passport starting at 2pm and visit the various arts & crafts stations in the Children's Department. Enjoy birthday treats and learn some fun science facts from the Cat himself.
