Family Storytime

Join Miss Kristine and Miss Alex every Wednesday for a fun-filled hour of stories, songs, and crafts. This program is geared toward a wide range of ages, including families with toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary-aged children.

There was a farmer who had a dog and Bingo was his name-o!  Let's read some stories about man's best friend: dogs!

 

Read to Rover

The dogs are back in town! Elementary students and beginning readers are invited to join our volunteer therapy dogs for a barking good time. Read your favorite stories to these clever canines and become a member of the Read to Rover Frequent Reader Club. Don't miss this great experience.

Come visit with Maddie, Cookie, or Oscar. Read them one of your favorite books or one of the many doggie tales we have at the library.

Kids & Tweens Make a Bird Journal Part 2 (GBBC Event)

In the second part of this series, we will use the paper we made with Boom Science to create beautiful birding journals in honor of the Great Backyard Bird Count. You will be able to take these journals home with you to write your thoughts in or take them along with you on your birding adventures. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Anastasia Island Branch Library.

 

Kids & Tweens Make a Crane Mobile (GBBC Event)

We will be making paper crane mobiles!  You'll be able to take them home and hang them up in your house to help celebrate the Great Backyard Bird Count! This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Anastasia Island Branch Library.

 

Kids LEGO Bricks Club

Kids LEGO Brick ClubFriday, February 7 @ 3:30pm
Come into the library to play with over 60 pounds of LEGO bricks and pieces. We supply the LEGO bricks and fun - all you need to bring is your imagination. There is no registration or fee for this program.
