Teen Tech Workshop: Creating a Field of Dreams

Use iPod Touches and Mac hard- and software to put together an amazing creation. Instructional Technology Coordinators of SJC Rose Kebe and Jesse Gates will lead this fun-filled workshop. Teen Tech Camp is aimed at students grades 5 – 9.

 

FLYP Summer Reading Program

Wednesday, June 19 @ 10 am

Join us for an exciting Viva 500 event, and kick off a summer of reading with the Spud Sisters! Join us for a fun-filled show including stories, songs, and audience participation! All of our FLYP events this summer will have a Florida flavor in honor Viva Florida 500. Please note: This event will take place in the Hastings Recreation Center gym located at 400 E. Harris Street. Please ensure all guests wear rubber-soled shoes.

Children’s Program: Aliens and Robots!

Is it a takeover of planet Earth, beginning in Hastings? No; it’s just an alien and robot program for kids! Join us for stories, a cool craft, and a sweet treat. If you want to dress up, come in costume.

 

Stay ‘n Play

Friday, June 14 @ 10:30 am

No need to rush out after storytime!  Stay and relax with other adults as your child plays. It’ll be fun for the both of you.

 

Family Storytime

Friday, June 14 @ 10 am

Today we’ll read stories about the activity Hastings is famous for:  farming!  Wear your overalls if you have them, and join us for music, fun, and a craft.

Today we’ll explore how to stay safe with people you don’t know. We’ll read The Berenstain Bears Learn about Strangers and other titles. We’ll also sing, role-play, and do a craft. You can never practice too much when it comes to staying safe. Join us.

Join Miss Kristine and Miss Alex every Wednesday for a fun-filled hour of stories, songs, and crafts!  This program is geared toward a wide range of ages including families with toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary-aged children.

Let's "Dig Into Reading" with a walk on the wild side.  We'll explore the jungle, the prairie, and the zoo.
