It's time again for the Florida Library Youth Program (FLYP) at Main Library. This year it's all about science as we "fizz, boom, and read" through some great programs. The first program stars our friends from The Public Archaeology Network as they explore and experiment with ancient science as used by the Timucuan Indians right here in Florida.

This free class emphasizes stretching, coordination of breath with movement, and attention to alignment. The class is designed to create breath awareness, enhance balance, and increase flexibility. Stretching is great for those who are experiencing joint sensitivity, or overall stiffness. Wear loose clothing, bring a towel & mat. Presented by yoga instructor, Gina Mercado.

Tired of being on the hold list, and can't wait any longer to see that new release film? Then, join us at the library for movie night. Tonight, we'll watch as an unlikely World War II platoon is tasked to rescue art masterpieces from Nazi thieves and return them to their owners. The film is Rated PG-13. Main Library is hosting a Summer Family Film Series every Wednesday from June 18 through August 1 in the large meeting room. Bring the kids and enjoy free organic popcorn courtesy of Diane's Natural Foods. Today's movie will definitely help you "chill out" and "beat the heat." Explore the properties of water, especially the colder aspects, with this modern retelling of a classic fairytale. Rated PG.

The Epilepsy Foundation of Florida will be providing free Healthcare Navigation services at the Main Library on May 28 and June 25 from 3pm to 8pm. At 5:00 pm a Navigator will be presenting on From Coverage to Care: A Roadmap to Better Care and a Healthier You. A question and answer session will follow the presentation. Healthcare Navigators are certified to assist with insurance enrollment and are qualified to answer questions about the Affordable Care Act and the Health Insurance Marketplace.
