St. Johns Reads: BINGO for Mystery Books!

Do you love free mystery books and playing Bingo? To celebrate St. Johns Reads 2013 this month we will be giving out adult mystery books! Everyone is guaranteed to go home with at least one free book. Book prizes are generously donated by the Friends of the St. Johns County Library! Everyone is welcome and it's FREE!

Author, speaker, and forensic death investigator, Kent Holloway, of the St. Johns County Medical Examiner's Office, will be breaking down the details of where the facts and fiction of a forensic death investigation meet.  Join us for an engaging and entertaining presentation. Be sure to check out some of our books on forensic science, including our 2013 St. Johns Read selection The Yard, by Alex Grecian.

Literary Lions Book Club: Any Book by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings

Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings was a Pulitzer-winning author who lived in rural Cross Creek, Florida, and wrote novels and stories focusing on rural themes and settings, including The Yearling and Cross Creek. This month you are invited to read any of her books for the book club. Enjoy sharing your thoughts of the book you chose, along with coffee & refreshments, courtesy of the Friends of the Library.
