The Children's Museum of St. Johns is teaming up with the St. Johns County Public Library System to present a fun and creative afternoon of activities!  Join us for "Pelican Pete" storytelling with authors Hugh and Frances Keiser (who will be available for book signing), chalkboard murals featuring scenes from the Pelican Pete book series, and chalk art take-a-ways.  This program is free of charge and open to the public.  This program was made possible by the Barbara Kay Foundation.

Movie Nite @ Main

Tired of being on the hold list, and can't wait any longer to see that new release film? Then join us at the library for a movie night! We're going to show a new release with a PG or PG-13 rating. Please call the Main Library at 827-6940 for movie titles and ratings. We'll have plenty of popcorn, courtesy of the Friends of the Library.

 

Viva Florida 500 Event: St. Augustine Brunch

Many different flags have flown over the Oldest City, since St. Augustine was founded in 1565.  To celebrate Viva Florida 500, we invite you to this special culinary program highlighting cuisine from Spain, Great Britain, and Southeastern United States.  Guest Chef, Matt Ryan, will share his favorite brunch recipes, cooking tips, and delicious samples!  This free event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library of St. Johns County.

 

Summer Afternoon Gaming

School-age children, tweens, and teens choose what they want to play this summer at the Main Library. A selection of video game choices for X-box 360, PS3, & Wii consoles will be offered. Love watching anime or reading manga? Tweens, teens, and young twenty-somethings are invited to the monthly meeting of our anime club, where you can meet others with similar interests.
