Have you ever thought about writing your life story for yourself, your family, the world? In this fun and lively presentation, Patricia Charpentier of Writing Your Life walks you through the many approaches to writing personal and family history while giving you tips on how to get started. She uses every day language, humor, and real life examples in discussing how to organize your material and gather your story ideas. This FREE workshop is brought to you through a partnership between the Florida Writers Association Ancient City Chapter and the Friends of the Library of St. Johns County.

Spine Strengthening with Gina Marie

Strengthening the muscles that support your spine help keep your back and upper body stable.  Keeping these muscles strong can relieve back pain and prevent injuries.  This simple workout is specifically designed to stretch and strengthen the back with a mix of dynamic and static stretches. This free class is presented by yoga instructor, Gina Mercado.

Summer Storytimes @ Main Library

Weekly Storytimes @ Main LibraryIt's already summer, and we're inviting you to join us each week for all the laughs of storytime.  We'll share some of our favorite books, sing songs, play music, tell interactive stories, make crafts, & have lots of fun! 
Thursdays, June 6, 13, 20, 27 AND July 11, 18, 25!

Baby Time 10:15 am
A gentle lapsit program with action rhymes, fingerplays, and first books for babies.  For pre-walkers only, please.
Toddler Time 11 am
We'll sing, we'll dance, and share our excitement for books and learning at the library. Don't be shy and bring your dancing shoes!
Preschool Storytime 11:30 am
"Big Kids" get a storytime of their own. Longer stories, a variety of early literacy concepts, listening, & pre-classroom skills.  Perfect for 3-5 year olds.
