FLYP event: The Spud Sisters (featuring Hastings Branch Library Youth Services Staff!)

Kick off a summer of reading right with the always-fun Youth Services Librarians (Michelle and Beth) from the Hastings Branch Library, this year known as The Spud Sisters! Join us as they present an interactive program guaranteed to get the audience involved with stories, songs, and more! All of our FLYP events this summer will have a Florida flavor in honor of Viva Florida 500. Children of all ages are encouraged to attend; however, please be aware that FLYP Programs are geared toward the school-age child. FLYP events are generously sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library!

3rd Annual Ponte Vedra Book Fair

The 3rd annual Ponte Vedra Book Fair introduces 10 regional authors deserving of better recognition.  Each author will discuss their personal journeys, from writing to publication, and later will sign and sell their books.  Sponsored by the Ponte Vedra Beach Friends of the Library.

Children's Book Week: Bedtime Teens Read with Kids

We're celebrating Children's Book Week with a special Teens Read with Kids. Join us in your pajamas with your favorite stuffed animal and have teens read to you or practice reading to a teen member of Ponte Vedra High School's Book Club. Milk and cookies will be served. Teen Advisory Board presents Movie Night for All Ages

All ages are invited to join us to watch the newest adaptation of a popular Broadway musical starring Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway rated PG-13. From IMDB: In 19th-century France, Jean Valjean, who for decades has been hunted by the ruthless policeman Javert after he breaks parole, agrees to care for factory worker Fantine's daughter, Cosette. The fateful decision changes their lives forever. Join us for pizza and sodas and be entered into a raffle for a deluxe DVD set of the movie if you dress up in costume as a character from the story or from the time period.
